Fried Kohlrabi and Noodles

This recipe is a simple one that I have recently created because I wanted to try kohlrabi. For anyone who doesn't know what kohlrabi is, it means, "German turnip" and it is a member of the cabbage family. It is loaded with vitamins such as A & C, and has plenty of dietary fiber.
Here is what kohlrabi looks like, I have a purple one and a white one. Both colors taste the same.

*Note: Most of these measurements will be estimated because I usually just eye-ball everything when I'm cooking.

Fried Kohlrabi and Noodles (This recipe makes about 2 servings.)

Ingredients:
~1 1/2 cups pasta noodles (I like to use Penne Rigate style.)
~1 kohlrabi, medium sized
~4 tbsp butter
~1 clove of garlic, minced
~1 tsp garlic & pepper seasoning (about)
~1 tsp italian seasoning (about)
~1 tsp thyme (about)

Directions: Make pasta noodles like normal (boil water, salt, etc.). Shred kohlrabi (using a food processor makes this process a lot easier). Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Then place shredded kohlrabi into the pan and stir occasionally. Add both seasonings, thyme and minced garlic to the pan also. When the kohlrabi is turning a little brown and crispy, add the noodles and another 2 tablespoons of butter. Let fry for about 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
